The Sullivan County Fairgrounds are located 1/2-mile from the intersection of Routes 87 and 154 in the Village of Forksville, just past the Covered Bridge on Route 154.
DESCRIPTION: A full weekend of Family Fall Fun! The Annual Fall Festival Lumberjack/Carving Competition is for young and old.
Wood Carvers from many states compete for cash prizes. Take home a one of kind carving at the public auction which immediately follows the quick carve competition.
The Lumberjack Competition runs both days, rain or shine. Participants include lumberjacks from New York, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas. Saturday events include the Log Roll, Crosscut, Jack & Jill Crosscut, One Man Bucking, Springboard Chop, Hot Saw and Axe Throw. Sunday features the Chainsaw Obstacle Course.
The Fall Festival is fun for everyone. Enjoy delicious, fresh, local food favorites such as kettle corn, funnel cakes, apple dumplings and apple butter made fresh at the festival. Hot Sausages with all the fixins, burgers, fries, ice cream, gyros, and much much more. Get the kids involved in pumpkin paintings they can take home!
A variety of vendors will be there also to get your holiday shopping started. Live entertainment both days on the outdoor stage.
Also enjoy the Quilt Show and Sale and Art Expo.
