DESCRIPTION: Opening day of the Allentown Art Museum 2019 fall exhibition of Hollywood Golden Age costumes from the private collection of Gene London. Dating from the late 1920s through the 1950s the costumes were worn by icons like Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland.
Fifth Street will be closed in front of the Museum between Linden and Court Streets to accommodate a display of antique cars dating from same glamorous era from the Bulgari collection some of which were owned by movie stars.
Admission to the Museum is free to the public on this day and every Sunday with a free docent led tour and free children’s activities. Expected attendance is approximately 600.
We believe a food truck would enhance the event and provide food service for hungry visitors, adults and children.
Food vendors wanted – to serve food at our event (food trucks, caterers, etc.)
