Bullskin Township Heritage Days
DESCRIPTION: The Bullskin Township Heritage Days is a family event with crafters and demonstrating, period dressed vendors, delicious hot soups, homemade desserts, pierogis, pulled pork sandwiches and much more, great bands all day long, and historical talks and displays. Check out who won our art, photo, writer’s contest and don’t miss our Queen contest! There will be children’s games and prizes, too.
Our event takes place in a beautiful wooded setting and is the home of Isaac Meason’s Mt. Vernon Iron Furnace. For more info, visit our website.
You won’t want to miss our Festival this year. Each year we grow and grow. If you want to spend a wonderful Fall day in a beautiful wooded park with great music, happy people, unique vendors, then this is your festival. To top this off we have Bruce Minick giving ‘Furnace Talks’—-explaining how the Mt. Vernon Furnace operated in its’ day. We also have art, writer’s, photo contest and historical displays. We hope to see you in October!
