Pillow Historical Society Dogs Days of Pillow
DESCRIPTION: The Pillow Historical Society is sponsoring the annual community day focused on our furry friends. The day will include games and activities for our children and our dogs; some fun competitive events like the best kisser and the best tail wagger; good food and local craft vendors; demonstrations from professional dog trainers and much more. Our local radio station WQLV- FM 98.9 will be there to broadcast the events of the day. Students from the Mace Music School will perform in the morning and afternoon entertainment TBD. The event also has an agility course and an obedience course for your pups!
This is a fund raiser for the Pillow Historical Society. The money acquired from this event will go toward supporting the efforts of the historical society, most importantly, the preservation of the museum located in the former Zion Lutheran Church built in 1885. At this time the steeple is in need of repair. It is one of the oldest landmark buildings of the town and the surrounding communities.

This is a dog event, so we encourage any businesses associated with dogs such as trainers, groomers, kennels, and veterinarians. All vendor spaces are outdoors, but the park has many trees providing a comfortable environment for events. We have a nice variety of vendors and hope to keep a balance of crafts, businesses, direct sales, etc.
