WHERE: Newtown Historic Association at the Half-Moon Inn
105 Court Street,
Newtown PA 18940
(Bucks County Pennsylvania Craft Shows, Vendor Fairs, Festivals.)
DESCRIPTION: Since 1977, Newtown Market Day is a free, outdoor craft fair for all ages that celebrates the colonial tradition of local farmers and homesteaders bringing their crops, livestock, and homemade wares into town to sell to neighbors and townspeople. It is our proud tradition to feature high-quality crafters, artisans and fine artists offering hand-made and upcycled goods; colonial-era demonstrations, reenactments and children’s activities; farm stands; entertainment for all ages; and food from local restaurants.
This event is organized by volunteers and all proceeds support the Newtown Historic Association. Free parking is available on the street or in municipal lots around town.
We also welcome people who re-enact colonial-era crafts and trades, such as wood carvers, iron workers, ribbon makers, tailors, etc, either for demonstration and education only or for show and sell. (Wearing colonial attire is strongly requested for colonial reenactors / demonstrators.) Demonstrators should email us if interested, as it’s a different application process than being a crafter.
Arts and crafts vendors wanted with handcrafted items only!
